The HLN Aquano water heater is a powerful yet compact heating solution designed for hot water needs, or engines and passengers in severe cold weather. Its unique design makes it ideal for use in vans, buses, boats, campervans, motorhomes, and campervan conversions. The heater operates independently of the engine to preheat the engine and defrost the windshield. It can also heat up domestic water when used with a heat exchanger. The investment is justified by its lower fuel consumption, reduced engine wear, lower emissions, and reduced burden on aftertreatment systems. Additionally, the heat from the coolant can be distributed via the vehicle’s existing exchangers and air vents, providing hot air for the passenger compartment.
The HLN Aquano 10K is a 10kW hydronic coolant heater for 12V vehicles that need serious engine preheating capacity. It warms the engine coolant independently of the engine, enabling safe cold starts, fast windshield defrosting, and cabin heating through existing vehicle air vents.
With 10kW of heating power, the Aquano 10K is designed for larger engines found in trucks, full-size vans, buses, and boats. It preheats the engine block and coolant to optimal temperature, which reduces cold-start wear, improves fuel efficiency during warmup, and lowers emissions from incomplete combustion.
The heater includes a WiFi digital control panel that connects to the SmartLife phone app. You can schedule the heater to start 30 minutes before your morning departure, ensuring a warm engine and defrosted windshield when you're ready to drive.
When connected to a heat exchanger, the Aquano 10K can also supply domestic hot water — useful for van life showers, galley sinks, and marine applications.
Priced at $849 with the full installation kit and WiFi controller included, the Aquano 10K provides heavy-duty hydronic heating at a lower cost than comparable Webasto Thermo Top or Espar Hydronic units.

For items that have been used, installed, tested, or are faulty, these will either be replaced or repaired under warranty and redelivered at our cost. However, any item returned under warranty found to have no issues will require payment for redelivery and the labour costs for testing.
